Tell us about yourself Joe
I am a jazz musician, music director and improviser. Principle instruments: Saxophones and Clarinet. Experience: MA Musical Direction (Leeds Conservatoire), Lead Alto (GT Big Band), Band Leader (Manouche Ganoush), Events Management (Oxjam Leeds Music Festival, Groovy Shoes Events, & LCSU Opera), Creator/Facilitator of a week-long workshop on Free Improvisation in theatre. I have also helped deliver sessions for Playful Anywhere and The Orchestra of Objects.
What you'd like to do more of?
Facilitating music and improvisation workshops both - all ages, all abilities
Who or what is currently giving you joy?
Studying an MA in a theatre department and getting to hang out with exciting, energetic creators of all things weird & wacky!
