All about Poppy
Poppy creates family street theatre shows, packed full with mind-blowing circus tricks and audience participation! She delivers workshops in circus (on the ground and in the air!), drama, crafts, children's yoga and storytelling.
She is a hula-hoop artist, aerialist, stilt-walker and actor. Through interactive acts, silly circus and mindful meditations Poppy creates stories that discover the power of our imagination and the endless possibilities of play. Poppy has been touring her own children’s theatre shows (under Poppins Presents) across the UK for four years, including Hippy Poppins (an interactive circus musical) and Pirate Poppins (An Aerial Circus Show).
Poppins presents playful opportunities for all people in every place, providing workshops and shows for people age 2-82* with all abilities.
Poppy delivers creative workshops in schools, SEN settings, children’s hospitals and public places. She provides entertainment at large scale family events and offers themed children’s birthday parties

Who or what is currently giving you joy?
Nothing brings me more joy than creating art in outdoor settings, whether it is performing or facilitating creative workshops. I am passionate about the transformative power of play to celebrate our community and natural environments. Who would have thought you could get so much joy from a plastic circle?! Hula hoops are a joy bringer, I love to dance with my cicurclar toys. A hula hoop has a unique ability to make everyone giggle and wiggle, no matter what their age!
