All about Ben

Part Dr Seuss, a touch of heath Robinson and a dollop of Garden shed inspiration. I create my own giant acoustic musical instruments using industrial and domestic scrap materials.

My creative adventures in sonic sculptures have helped me develop a healthy relationship with schools and local community groups, running workshops in playing music and creating sound sculptures. I use the national music festival scene to showcase my work creating, interactive sound gardens for all ages to play, explore and have fun. I love bright colors and exciting shapes, combining this with a junk yard obsession and a fascination of healing with sound.
